Through active participation and support in community groups like the Terminal 91 Neighbors Advisory Committee, the Duwamish Valley Community Equity Program, local chambers of commerce, environmental interests and industry advocacy groups, the Port maintains important relations with various constituencies to share information and remain responsive to community and industry needs.
The Port of Seattle also is a proud supporter of community programs and events including Raisbeck Aviation High School’s Environmental Challenge, Port U Adult Education Series, Shilshole Bay Marina Night Out, Seafair Fleet Week, Seattle Maritime Festival, Fishermen’s Fall Festival, Duwamish River Festival, and a host of community activities throughout the year that help showcase Port facilities and benefit our communities.
