About Port grants programs
Port grant programs create opportunities in the communities we serve with a localized emphasis on those closest to Port operations.
Port grants expand opportunity by supporting local tourism, small businesses, and investing in environmental justice, and economic equity in underserved communities.

Since the Economic Development Partnership Program’s inception in 2016, the Port has awarded nearly $4 million in program funding cities in King County. With matching contributions by cities, the program has generated nearly $6.5 million in economic development investments across King County over the 5 program cycles.
South King County Community Impact Fund will award $10 million between 2019 and 2024 for community-led groups to improve the local environment and increase economic opportunities in neighborhoods near Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).
The Port has invested nearly $5 million in South King County communities through the South King County Fund to date.
The Spotlight SEA Airport Advertising Program reserves approximately 10% of the total available advertising space at SEA International Airport for cities, counties, port authorities as well as non-profit organizations throughout the state to advertise their event, region or destination to travelers.
The Tourism Marketing Support Program provides up to $200k each year for statewide tourism partners to promote to out-of-state visitors with a focus on the use of Port facilities; SEA International Airport, cruise terminals, and recreational marinas. Each organization can receive up to $10k in a 2-to-1 match.
