Meet the Crew: Firefighters Pagaduan and Gade

Port of Seattle Fire Department would like to welcome two new lateral-hire firefighters to the department. Both are currently participating in our internal academy and becoming familiar with Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

Firefighter Lindsey Pagaduan (left):

Hello, I live in Enumclaw.  I have two kids - my daughter is 12 and my son is 9 - and a golden retriever.  I started working for Greenwater Fire as a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT. I continued to gain knowledge when I worked for Mt. Rainier National Park as a Ranger/EMT and wildland firefighter.  I finally decided to make the leap as a full-time career firefighter in 2019 when I got the chance to work for Boeing Fire.  I am excited to gain more knowledge and skills with this new opportunity with the Port of Seattle Fire.

Firefighter Emily Gade (right):

I am from Clovis, California. I have been in the fire service since 2015 and have experience as a wildland firefighter with the forest service and park service as well as 3 and a half years with Federal Fire as a Firefighter/EMT. I live an active lifestyle, so I am very excited that I have been able to move to West Seattle and am looking forward to finding tons of new hikes and places to go snowboarding.

Welcome to both of you!
