The Port of Seattle (Port) invites you to attend a public workshop to provide information on the Part 150 Study for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The Port is starting a study to evaluate the noise compatibility of SEA with the surrounding communities and current and possible new efforts to reduce the effects of aircraft noise on the surrounding communities. This Study will follow the process outlined in Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 150, Airport Noise Compatibility Planning (see FAA’s website for more information.)
The workshops will include displays that will present information on various topics including the Part 150 Study process, schedule, and information about modeling aircraft noise exposure. Each workshop will be an “open house” format with no formal program; this format will provide attendees with the maximum opportunity for one-on-one interaction and sharing of information, ideas, and concerns. You may attend any workshop and at any time during the hours listed. Feedback received from the community will be considered throughout the development of the multi-year Study.
