Title VI: Your Rights to Non-Discrimination

Port of Seattle - Title VI Notice to the Public The Port of Seattle hereby gives public notice that it is the Port’s policy to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities, as well as Section 520 of the Airport and Airways Improvement Act of 1982. Title VI and Section 520 together require that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, sex, creed, or national origin be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any Federal Aid Highway program, FAA program, or other activity for which the Port receives Federal financial assistance.

Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI has a right to file a formal complaint with the Port. Any such complaint must be in writing and filed with the Port’s Title VI Coordinator within one hundred eighty (180) days following the date of the alleged discriminatory occurrence. If the complaint is Sea-Tac Airport specific, please use this form. If the complaint is about the port in general, please use this form.
