Tailgate Guide to Blue Friday at SEA!

December 4, 2019

Seattle is a sports town that ferociously loves our teams. We rowdily sing soccer chants and proudly wear rain ponchos to the football stadium. Maybe you haven’t washed your baseball jersey since 1995. Perhaps you were one of the 25,000 people that bought hockey season tickets before we had a team.

If so, we want to celebrate Blue Friday with you!

Blue Friday Tailgate at SEAOn Friday, Dec. 6, join SEA Airport to celebrate Blue Friday with local football fans. Airport staff in team colors and jerseys will be sharing treats with passengers who show their team spirit. Look for us in Central Terminal at 11:00 a.m. while supplies last. Blitz will also be in the house for photographs and autographs!

Tailgating is integral to football, and we do not fumble the food at SEA! Read on for football-inspired sips and bites and 12s gear in our SEA Tailgate Guide.

Floret, A Gates: Floret offers fresh, local, vibrant, vegetarian tailgating fare.

  • We love the Garden Floret, a house made bloody mary mix, vodka, citrus and pickled vegetables; and Autumn Mule with vodka, spiced apple liqueur, lime, Rachel’s ginger beer, and angostura bitters.
  • The Chilaquiles are served as eggs or seasoned tofu scrambled with crispy spiced tortilla chips topped with creamy avocado, corn relish, cotija, lime sour cream, snappy sauce, and served with black beans.
  • The Biscuits and Gravy are not to be missed with house made rosemary biscuits and mushroom country gravy.
  • A twist on a tailgate classic, the BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich is satisfying jackfruit topped with creamy coleslaw on a soft potato roll.
