Flights available starting July 14, 2024
March 14, 2024

Taiwan-based China Airlines will launch five new nonstop flights a week to Taipei (TPE) from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) starting July 14, 2024. SEA welcomes the announcement as passengers will now have even more options to reach Asia directly. With a busy summer travel season ahead, SEA expects to see more record-breaking international travel days on the horizon.

“It’s an exciting time for international travel in and out of SEA, and we look forward working with China Airlines on this new service,” said Port of Seattle Commissioner Ryan Calkins. “The strong interest we’re seeing from airline partners in SEA Airport is a testament to the diversity and opportunities we have in this region. We’ll continue to do the work to meet the travel demand and customer needs.”

As SEA celebrates its 75th Anniversary, China Airlines is in its 65th year of service. China Airlines previously served SEA from 2004 to 2008 and will now be the sixth North American destination for the airline after JFK, LAX, ONT, SFO, and YVR. Passengers will travel in business, premium economy, or economy seats aboard an Airbus A350-900. As China Airlines is a member of the SkyTeam Alliance, passengers will have the option of connecting onward with Delta Air Lines flights.
