The Port of Seattle and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) stand against anti-Asian hate. There is a history of structural racism against Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities in the Pacific Northwest, but the pandemic has also fueled discrimination against Asian communities. We do not tolerate racism against Asians and Asian Americans in any form.
At SEA, we promise a travel experience that reflects the spirit of the Pacific Northwest, which strives for inclusion. This mission provides more opportunities for small, local, and disadvantaged businesses to ensure that the face of the airport reflects the diversity of our community.
May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and National Small Business Week is the first week of the month. One way to fight racism every day is to support local API businesses.
When you’re traveling next, and into the future, eat and shop at these Asian-owned businesses and support the entrepreneurs that help our economies and communities thrive.
