Full and part-time, flexible schedule jobs are available starting this April when the 2023 cruise season returns to the Port of Seattle. Terminal operators and shore side services that support cruise activity out of Seattle will kick off their job hiring program with a job fair at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center at Pier 66 on March 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Important details including links to job applications, free parking and other logistics are available at the Port website. Approximately 10 different employers will provide information on cruise season jobs that pay between $20-25 per hour. The Port will welcome 291 sailings and over 1.4 million revenue passengers between April and October of 2023. View the 2023 Cruise Schedule.
“Cruise season team members welcome visitors to the region and help make the summer safe and successful,” said Linda Springmann, Director of Cruise Operations and Maritime Marketing for the Port of Seattle. “These unique jobs offer a behind the scenes opportunity in both the tourism and maritime industry. They can either be a flexible short-term opportunity or an entry point to some of the most critical industries in our region.”
Cruise season hiring begins now continues through the course of the season. The cruise season in Seattle supports nearly $900 million in business revenue to the region. Provisioning homeport vessels at the beginning of each journey and passenger spending in the region account for the largest categories of economic activity.
