You may have noticed that cooler weather and shorter days are here. We're cocooning in our fuzzy sweaters, boots, and pumpkin-flavored everything and turning up that thermostat.
While some (eyeroll) dread the abundance of pumpkin spice-infused treats and products this time of year, SEA Airport dining and retail vendors are embracing the season. If pumpkin is what you're craving — or if you yearn for caramel, cinnamon, and pecan — here's your hit list for fall flavors at SEA.
Lucky Louie Fish Shack, Central Terminal: If pumpkin spice is calling your name, stop at this woman-owned and chef-driven eatery. During the month of October, enjoy a house-baked pumpkin spice muffin with creamy cheesecake topping and pumpkin seeds or celebrate the return of the pumpkin spice caramel sauce, a Sweet Treat Waffle Fish Seasonal Dip.
Floret, A Gates: A plant-based eatery with the choice to sit and linger, or swing by the espresso bar. If you're in a rush, Floret makes its own pumpkin spice for lattes as well as house-made pumpkin bread.
Rel’Lish Burger Lounge, B Gates: Rel’Lish is a sit-down restaurant known for its elevated yet approachable menu, but it also has a convenient grab-and-go counter. Cozy up before your flight with a Fall Spiked Coffee featuring Bourbon, Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey, local Café Umbria Coffee, and pumpkin spice whip.
LouLou’s, B Gates: Tantalize your tastebuds at this French-meets-PNW eatery with three new fall-themed cocktails on the menu. Sip a Cran-Ginger Mimosa, made with cranberry juice and real ginger topped with sparkling wine; Apple of My Pie, made with Elijah Craig bourbon, Frangelico, honey syrup, lemon and apple juice, garnished with cinnamon and an apple chip; and Harvest Punch, made with Bacardi Superior and Captain Morgan original spiced rums, Aperol, and honey syrup with orange and pineapple juices, garnished with a cherry and dehydrated orange. Need a snack on the go? Pick up a locally-made Elleno’s Yogurt, now available in seasonal pumpkin and apple pie flavors for a quick snack.
Lady Yum, C Gates: Lady Yum is a must-taste for macaroons at SEA! A local and woman-owned business, there are 15 original flavors always available along with fresh seasonal and monthly flavors to mix it up. The fall flavors are pumpkin butter brew, featuring pumpkin spice infused with butterscotch cream soda with a hint of orange; and caramel apple featuring buttery caramel cut with the tartness of a granny smith apple.
Seattle Chocolate, C Gates: Made just a few miles from the airport, Seattle Chocolate covers your sweet tooth with pumpkin spice chai and apple pie a la mode milk chocolate and truffle bars.
Dish D’Lish, C Gates: Known as a healthy grab-and-go option featuring food from scratch, Dish D’Lish added a few autumn-inspired things to the menu like house-baked whole grain muffins in two flavors — pumpkin spice with crunchy pumpkin seeds and cranberry orange, and pumpkin spice chia oats with Greek yogurt and pumpkin spice drizzle.
Caffé Vita, C Gates: Caffé Vita is serving up seasonal espresso drinks including pumpkin spice lattes, cold brew, and white mochas.
Starbucks, multiple locations: The pioneer of the pumpkin spice latte (PSL), since first debuting it in 2003, Starbucks has expanded its menu for fall fanatics. If you’re a “beleafer” as Starbucks lovingly dubbed its PSL devotees, stop by for the PSL or try the pumpkin cream cold brew. Also on the fall menu is the salted caramel mocha, apple crisp Frappuccino, pumpkin cream cheese muffin, pumpkin scone, pumpkin spice madeleines, and cat cake pop.
Natalie’s Candy Jar, N Gates: Natalie’s Candy Jar carries over 400 varieties of conventional, nostalgic, and hard-to-find candies to meet every whim. Naturally, it's also your go-to place for spooky and quirky Halloween treats. Embrace your inner child and grab some caramel apple flavored cotton candy or choose from many frightful delights like gummy tarantulas, spider web cotton candy, and mummy mints.
SEA Roast Coffee House, N Gates, brews Caribou Coffee and serves up everything from hot espresso to blended drinks to ready-to-go-snacks. Get your fall flavors fix with like a pumpkin-crafted press, pumpkin white mocha cooler, and pumpkin latte. Or if apple is more your thing, try the bousted apple blast or hot apple blast.
